I offer yoga therapy specifically to suit your personal needs, whether it is for stress, anxiety, depression or any other challenges that may confront you such as PTSD.  I have also experience of working with clients with Crohns Disease, alcoholism and various back issues.

Yoga therapy has been proven to bring relief and a sense of well-being and calm, no matter what the issue.

Initially I ask you to complete some forms to give me a picture of you, your medical history and your challenges. In our first meeting of one-and-a-half hours, I would asses you and your breath and discuss with you a plan for the coming weeks. Normally I would suggest a programme of 5 – 8 weeks of one hour per week and advise you on some regular homework practice between sessions.

It is important to stress that yoga therapy is not a talking therapy … it is working with the body and the mind through yoga postures, breathwork, mindfulness and meditation. It is not delving into the past or looking at the future, but working solely in the present to bring results and provide tools which will be long lasting.

Absolutely no previous experience of yoga is necessary.

Without our challenges we would never know our strengths, so we should not let our struggles in life disempower us …we are not defined by our past.. …. nor are we defined by anything that happened to us or is happening to us now .. we define ourselves,  and what we believe to be true of ourselves we will find proof of in the world. What we give out radiates back to us. 

FEES

  • First Session (1.5 hours): £60.00
  • Course of five one-hour sessions taken in consecutive weeks: £200.00
  • Drop in Yoga Therapy Sessions (1 hour): £45.00 per session

NB if less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel a session the full cost may be charged
