This quote deeply resonates with me.  Yoga has saved my back (and my mind!) and, as a result, my body will shout out to me if I do not complete my daily practice.  Keeping myself free from stress and building strength and flexibility in all the muscles that feed into my back has meant that I avoided a complex and major back operation around 20 years ago.  I would like to share some of my yogic practices with you.

If you suffer from lower back pain or would like guidance as to how to keep your back healthy,  this workshop is for you.  During the two hour session of yoga, mindfulness and deep relaxation you will:

  • Centre, ground and relax your body and mind using gentle massaging movement & stretches to release tension
  • Learn safe yoga postures to bring relief from back pain
  • Use spinal mobility and core stability to strengthen your back and core
  • Stretch and soften the huge range of muscles that can cause back issues
  • Learn about body/mind awareness and pain management
  • Learn postures to build a daily home practice

You will need a yoga mat, cushions, blanket and belt/strap/tie

It is advisable to wear loose clothing and bare feet and not to eat for two hours before the workshop.

There are limited spaces even though this class is online.   I will be taking questions and dealing with you as individuals so early booking is advisable.
