Welcome to Lockdown No 2! A great opportunity to build our immunity and resilience! Twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays at 8.30 am I will be running a FREE live Zoom Breath Workshop for 30 minutes. Lets set ourselves up for the week and weekend with an exhilarating, enlivening, toxin removing, calming breath practice.
As you know we can change our mood and physiology through the breath … we can either energise or calm ourselves and in doing so we can build resilience in our central nervous system. We have the most powerful tool and can learn to reach stability no matter what life throws our way.
Breathwork is recommended by the NHS as it can increase lung strength and capacity. The recommendation is to inhale slowly and deeply. At the end of the inhale pause, hold for 2-3 seconds and take in a little sniff to further increase the air in the lungs and then exhale.
