JUST SAY “YESSSSS”!! RESEARCH SHOWS IT BOOSTS OUR MOOD!

What a fabulous day …. The sunnier light, the spring bulbs, longer days and putting the dark wintry days behind us all make such a difference!

Have you had enough of being cooped up, hunched over a desk, uncertainty, no human contact?  Here are some suggestions to lift your spirits and brighten your day!

SAY YES!! ……… as often as you can!!

  • Try walking on frosty grass with bare feet!
  • Star jumps – wrapped up warm in the park/garden
  • A walk – even when you think it will be just “toooooooo cold”
  • Pick a couple of spring flowers and pop them in a vase!
  • Breath of fire!! –  X 10 BREATH OF FIRE – energy boost! ? (click here for demo)
  • Look out of the window and name out loud 5 beautiful things you can see!
  • Phone someone you have not spoken to for ages!!
  • For anything you achieve today, reward yourself!! And ……
  • After doing three of the above, make yourself your favourite hot drink, cosy up, read something uplifting and book a yoga class!! See you there ……..soon!

 Research shows that just “saying ‘yes’” rather than ‘no’ can make such a difference to our mental health …. Try it!  Say yes as much as you can to anything you are asked or ask yourself to do during the day! Notice the difference to how  you feel!!  It really works!!

NB: Booking more than one block of classes?  the second (cheaper) one is half price.

  1. All the above classes are inclusive, nobody will ever be turned away.  There are concessions/free places for NHS workers and those on low or much reduced income – please ask for further details.
